One Pot Creamy Italian Soup

Ingredients
1 lb Italian turkey sausage (sweet or hot)
1 Heaping Cup of frozen or fresh sliced carrots
1 lb Chopped potatoes, your choice of kind
2 Tbsp Minced garlic
3 Tbsp Arrow root or flour
1 C Heavy cream
3 C Fresh spinach
1 Tsp Cayenne pepper
1 Tsp Salt (taste throughout cook time to add more if necessary)
4 Tbsp Butter (salted or unsalted)
1 Medium sweet onion chopped
1 Medium sweet pepper (your color choice) chopped
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
5 C Chicken or vegetable broth
1 Brick 8 oz room temperature cream cheese cubed
1 Can (15.5oz) Great Northern Beans Drained
1 Tsp Dried mustard
1/2 Tsp Dried basil
1/2 Tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 Tsp Pepper (taste throughout cook time to add more if necessary)
1 Tsp Parsley
Directions
- In a dutch oven, add 2 tbsp butter, melt
- Cook and crumble sausage, remove from pot with a slotted spoon leaving drippings
- Add 2 Tbsp butter, stir until melted
- Drop in onions, peppers, and carrots. Cook until fragrant
- Add garlic, Worcestershire, and all spices
- Add your thickener and stir until incorporated
- Add broth, bring to a simmer
- Add potatoes, beans and sausage, simmer until potatoes are done
- Add cream, spinach and cream cheese
- Stirring frequently, simmer until cream cheese is melted
- Serve with a garnish of grated Parmesan Cheese
