Ditch The Box, One Pot Macaroni And Cheese

Ingredients
1 lb Macaroni pasta
1 Brick 8 oz room temperature cream cheese
1/2 C Cream
1 Tbsp Salt
1/2 Tbsp Garlic Powder
1/2 Tbsp Sugar
6 Tbsp Butter
12 Slices of your favorite cheese. We use Sargento because there are no pork enzymes in it
1 C Milk (possibly more depending on desired consistency)
1 Tsp Pepper
1 Tbsp Onion powder
1 Tbsp Dijon mustard
Directions
- Cook pasta just under al dente, set aside
- In the same pot over medium low heat, add cream, half of milk, butter and cream cheese
- Add Spices and Mustard
- Melt until cheese is creamy
- Add Pasta
- Add Cheese Slices
- Stir until cheese slices are melted. Add remaining milk and more as necessary to achieve desired consistency.
- Serve immediately.
